Who are we?
Situated in the heart of Paris, staffed by a team of 47 dedicated professionals, and boasting contacts with more than 35,000 French and francophone publishers, Amalivre supplies libraries worldwide with titles in all formats (books, DVDs, periodicals, e-books...) through a variety of acquisition models : firm orders, standing orders, approval plans and subscriptions.
Our team provides a range of customized services utilizing electronic data interchange (EDI) for orders or invoices, cataloging records in MARC21 format, table of contents and digital covers, shelf-ready services, and a range of tools that facilitate selection and acquisition workflows.
Since 2021, Amalivre has offered ebooks to its clients through our dedicated platform.
With an in-depth knowledge of French and French-language publishing, Amalivre also offers its services to bookstores around the world who share the same passion for promoting the French language and the dissemination of French-language publishing.
Our Services
Firm Orders
Amalivre supplies publications in all formats. Our team of bibliographers specialises in French and Francophone titles but sources also English and German titles for our clients.
Approval Plans
Amalivre provides Approval Plans to hundreds of University Libraries in North America and Europe : a custom made service for each Library. We work with you to define a customized collection development profile and will select titles accordingly.
Standing Orders
Amalivre standing orders' team is dedicated to delivering a fast, reliable and personalized service. We provide standing orders for monographic series, proceedings, irregular publications, yearbooks... to hundreds of clients around the world.
Ebooks platform
Since 2021, Amalivre has offered its clients over 55,000 e-books in partnership with 70 publishers on a dedicated platform. Our platform will be enriched with additional publishers and publications throughout 2022.
Our bibliographic services
Amalivre is a recognized bibliographic agency for French and francophone titles. We offer different levels of cataloguing as well as shelf-ready processing customized according to your local requirements.
Periodicals
Amalivre handles more than 5,000 serial titles published in France and other French speaking countries.
